Tax Rate DECREASE–$67.9M Property Tax Levy
The Niagara County Manager and the Office of Management and Budget have released the FY2009 Tentative Niagara County budget.
The FY09 budget contains a $.21/$1000 of assessed valuation DECREASE over 2008 tax rates for properties assessed at 100% of valuation. The overall budget is $304 million, with a property tax levy of $67.9 million. Additional information is available in the County Manager’s budget message.
Paper copies of the budget are available to media representatives at the Office of Management and Budget, located in the Philo J. Brooks County Office Building, 59 Park Ave., Lockport.
