Niagara Rises

Greetings,
I’m the president of the Niagar Falls Block Club Council and also the president of the Echota West Block Club.
We are planning a homecoming of sorts for the historic Echota district on Sat. June 27, 2009. We would like to work with you during the homecoming weekend.
I will be at the Happy Hour today with Norma Higgs and we will look forward to discussing this further with you.

I’m so excited about the reunion weekend I’m telling everyone I can to come home. I heard a rumor that there is going to be a picnic at Hyde Park on the 27th. Is this going to take place?

Thanks for the minutes from 2-17 meeting. It was a very exciting meeting. So much info is being shared about what is or going to happen in the area. Roger Spurback, one of the people that shared at the monthly meeting, spoke a word that should be decreed & declared throughout the region. We have been hearing it for some time in some of the churches. It is wonderful to hear it outside the church, in the public arena, also. This is the word:
“Niagara Falls is on the cusp of something great!”
I say, “Western New York is on the cusp of something great!”

This could be the new buzz about town. All of us at Niagara Rises know it is true. Now is the time to share the good news with the world! Geri

Frank C. just spoke to 60 of my U.S. history students at Niagara Falls HS. What a great job he did selling Niagara Homecoming. Many of my kids are very excited about the event and are looking forward to coming to the meeting on March 24. Its good to see the event apears to be in vey good hands.
